Actual color is different than the color pictured. January 9, 2015

When I first ordered this product I was really excited since it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for — a high tech thin RED carbon fiber case!  However when I got it I was disappointed to find that the color doesn't look anything like the picture.  Rather than a bright vivid red it's much more of a pale, almost burgundy color.  If you're looking for red I would recommend getting the Brigandine color which is probably closer to actual red.  Also, even though it's made of Kevlar I was hoping to be able to feel the texture of the weave on the outside.  instead of feeling like carbon fiber it feels like a cheap piece of plastic, completely smooth & flexible.  Very disappointed with this purchase.
