What exactly makes Evutec eco-conscience?

Evutec is consistently working towards developing new ways to recycle and integrate composite materials to create products that are smart, sleek, and protective. We utilize sustainable FSC certified wood, Real Advanced Composite Material (ACM), and Ballistic Nylon in the making of our products. This helps in minimizing the earth’s accumulation of short life products that are overpopulating the market today. Our product philosophy will change the way you look at the protection around your smartphone or wireless device.

Why is Real Advanced Composite Material (ACM) more protective for my device than plastic?

Plastic cases are created by melting polymers and easily molding them into a specific shape or object. Our ACM cases, on the other hand, go through a much more intensive multi-step process of construction. To start, hundreds of fibers are pulled together to form one single weave strand of ACM. These strands are then woven together to form various patterns. The woven patterns are what make ACM lightweight and strong. So strong in fact that it has five times the strength of steel at the same weight.

Real Advanced Composite Material (ACM) so strong?

ACM is a long chain-like molecule known as a polymer which consists of repeating units called monomers. When raw ACM fibers are melted down and spun through small holes into single strands they form hydrogen bonds that act as glue to hold the polymer chains together. These chains are what give ACM its tensile strength.

Are the cases bulletproof?

While Real Advanced Composite Material (ACM) is used in a variety of different products including bulletproof vests, none of the products manufactured or sold by Evutec are bulletproof. We strongly discourage any of our customers from testing the limits of our products at the range!

Is my AER or AERGO Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ case compatible with wireless charging?

No, our AER and AERGO Samsung Galaxy s8 and S8+ cases are not intended to be used with wireless charging.

Warranty

Does my case come with a warranty?

For product purchased outside of the United States, please refer to your local authorized distributor or retailer. Evutec products purchased from authorized retailers in the United States are covered by a limited product warranty (Limited Warranty) for a 1-year period following the original date of purchase (Warranty Period). This limited warranty does not cover product that has been purchased from any source other than Evutec or an Evutec authorized retailer in the United States. Evutec is not responsible for any products made by anyone other than Evutec including counterfeit Evutec products, smartphones, tablets, or other portable electronic devices. Evutec is not responsible for any repair, replacement or cost of such electronic devices or property that comes into contact with Evutec products. Warranty claims are approved at Evutec’s sole discretion, Evutec will either replace the defective product, repair it so it is returned to its original specifications, or refund the purchase price within 30 days of Evutec authorization as determined by Evutec. Evutec will cover the cost of replacing or repairing the product and shipping it from Evutec to the consumer. If the original product is no longer available or out of stock, Evutec reserves the right to replace the defective product with a replacement product of equal or greater value

The following is not covered by Evutec’s limited warranty:

• Normal wear and tear

• Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, or other abnormal use

• Use of the Product other than for its intended purpose

• Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance

• Product that has been modified or altered

• Any product that is not manufactured by Evutec (including, without limitation, any non-Evutec product that is used in connection with the Product)

• Any Product that is not purchased from an Evutec authorized retailer

• Damage to your property or device while using an Evutec product

This limited warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser of the applicable Evutec product. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer in the form of the original purchase receipt or packing slip is required for warranty validation and service. Warranty claims must be made directly to Evutec. Please note that Evutec cannot be held liable, in any manner, for damages to your personal property resulting from any use, misuse or improper care and maintenance of the Evutec product cases.
