I have an iPhone 8 and have been using the Apple Smart Case (silicone case with the built-in battery pack) and I love it, but some times it gets to be a bit big/heavy, plus I have no mount for it in the car.

I bought this AER case, since I used an Evutec Karbon case on my iPhone 6 and loved it. However, I did notice with this new AER case, it doesn't stick out much past the camera lens (if at all). I know the lens should be nearly impossible to scratch, but I personally would rather the case stick out farther to avoid the lens from touching any surfaces when laid down. After debate, I decided to research "magnets and iPhones" to discover that the magnets may not be good for the phone. It can cause the compass to not work or not be calibrated, and the focus for the camera will possibly not work either. For now, I have decided to stick with using the Apple Smart Case, but will continue my research to hopefully make an argument to use the Evutec case.

The things that I personally do not like about the case may be irrelevant to another person, but if you're like me, I figured I would give you the heads up. (Posted on 10/18/2017)
